What does a Day of Design Look Like?
Day of Design is a focused, high-impact design experience designed to help you make real progress—quickly, confidently, and with a clear sense of direction.
By the time we spend our day together, we’re not starting from scratch. In most cases, we’ve already visited your home or at the least, completed our detailed intake process. When we arrive we’re beginning with a strong understanding of your space, your style, and what you’re trying to accomplish. This preparation is what allows the day to feel productive instead of overwhelming.
This is a hands-on, collaborative experience. We come prepared—with measurements, technology, samples, and tools—so decisions can be made in real time. Whether we’re laying out furniture, building a digital floor plan, narrowing wallpaper options, selecting paint colors, or pulling together a shoppable moodboard, the goal is the same: to turn ideas into clear, actionable plans.
The day is structured, goal-driven, and intentionally finite—but it’s also enjoyable. Clients often tell us how relieving it feels to finally have decisions made, questions answered, and a clear path forward.
And if you’re wondering whether everything can realistically be resolved in one day—don’t worry. We’ve built in thoughtful follow-up options so you’re never left hanging once implementation begins.

How it Works

Here’s the Process we use to ensure success:
- Pre-Design Preparation — Client receives a detailed questionnaire outlining project goals and priorities. The design team reviews materials, confirms scope, and prepares in advance so the day is focused and productive.
- Design Day — In-person design work centered on the agreed-upon objectives. This may include space planning, selections, showroom field trips, and real-time decision-making to move the project forward.
- Post-Design Recap — Following the design day, the client receives a detailed recap documenting selections, resources, sketches or plans created during the session, and next steps.
