Pick What You Like

Thomas Pheasant is an American designer, based out of Washington, DC but traveling the world for ideas. I saw this quote this morning and because I so strongly agree, I wanted to share a few of his rooms. I was expecting to see rooms filled with unique treasures. I did, but more than that I saw rooms that were so timeless, they could come from any era. Many looked like they could have been designed in the forties or the sixties or even the eighties.

Why is that significant? When you’re working on your home, do think about longevity. DO think about making timeless purchases and not trying to embrace this years’ trend. Take advantage of the trends that you LOVE, but don’t incorporate them JUST because they’re trendy…embrace them because they fit you, your family, your style.
