Welcome!
I am an Independant Interior Designer and have been in business in the Portland area for seven years. I have 22 years experience in the home interiors industries.
I have extensive experience in upholstered furniture, in fact running a furniture showroom. I also specialize in custom window treatments, both decorative and privacy. Working with fabrics to create a totally comfortable, totally cohesive feeling in your room is my forte.
I teach an Interior Design Program through the community school at Portland Community College. This is a great option for clients to meet me and get to know my style. You'll also learn a bit about the design process and where to begin in your own home! If you're having trouble getting started, I suggest finding an inspiration item!
Picking surfaces for your home - flooring and countertops - can be challenging. I have quite a bit of experience in this. There is an example of my work at

In the last year, I've added retirement living to my resume having selected all
finishes, color scheme, and public space planning for a 100,000 square foot
retirement home.
